HOW WE HELP TODAY
The Ark Christian Ministry Center facilitates an array of ministries dedicated to the promotion
of the Kingdom of God. Each of the ministry projects housed at The Ark is Christ-centered,
community-focused aimed at reaching local, regional, national and international communities.
THE GOLDEN AGE MINISTRY
Open to individuals 50+ of age who want to serve the Lord. Through prayer, Christian fellowship,
and joyful service this group of men and women serve those in need. The Golden Agers support the
food ministry by providing volunteers and approximately $10,000 worth of food per month.

THE THRIFT STORE MINISTRY
God uses the thrift store to bless so very many people. He blesses those who give the clothes,
shoes, furniture, appliances, pictures, household and other items; and He blesses those who
volunteer to serve as workers. And, of course, He blesses those to make purchases from the store.

THE ARK BOOK STORE MINISTRY
The bookstore has been a part of The Ark since it opened, but has always been rather small. That is changing
with the recent arrival of about 5,000 donated books. This will bring the total books available to between
6 and 7 thousand. Actually there are three different rooms dedicated to books. The first is dedicated to
religious and Christian resources. Next is a room devoted to children’s books, toys, and stuffed animals.
Last is the room where a wide variety of secular books are available. The bookstore, along with the Thrift
Store, provide vital resources to continue the work of The Ark.

THE FOOD MINISTRY
The food ministry is currently helping approximately 40 needy families a week; almost 200 families
per month. That equals about 600 men, women and children per month. The value of the food provided
easily exceeds $10,000 per month. All by God's provision.
