News From Campus Outreach Gulf Coast
Yesterday I met with a freshmen named Austin to show him how to study the Bible. This is significant because
mostly we have been spending time with non-believers and sharing our faith but I met Austin one day for lunch,
began talking with him and it became clear that he was a believer. After sharing my testimony and my desire to
see young men raised up that love God and want to influence others, he asked if I would begin meeting with him
every week to teach him how to study the Bible. Please pray for continued hunger and growth for Austin. He is
also in SAE fraternity where I have met about 15 guys. by Casey Williamson, Campus Outreach Gulf Coast

REQUEST FOR HELP IS UP SHARPLY
The depressed economic situation has resulted in a dramatic increase in the request for assistance
for food, clothes and other items. The food bank alone has increased the families they serve by
almost 50 percent. In addition many families are having to wait for longer periods of time to get
service. We need caned goods and other non-perishable foods. If you can contribute please call
and we will arrange for pickup. Click here to contact us.

NEW ROOF PLANNED
One of the biggest needs for The Ark is a new roof on about two-thirds of the building.
Until a new roof is in place, a large portion of the facility remains unusable. The
space is desperately needed. A capital campaign is in the planning stages and more
information, along with an opportunity to participate, will be announced soon.
