By the Grace of God The Ark has served hundreds, even thousands of hurting
people (men, women & children). God has now laid it upon our hearts
to complete the renovation of the building and prepare it for new and
expanded ministries.

The Ark offers exceptional opportunities for Christian volunteers to give of their time and talent
while serving the Lord and meeting the needs of individuals by serving in various capacities such as:

- Bookstore clerk and Bookseller
- Maintenance & repair worker
- Housekeeper
- Electrician & Carpenter

HOW YOU CAN HELP
The miracle is that all the work of The Ark has been, and is being, done by Christian volunteers and without
any regular source of income other than gifts from a small cadre of supporters and the modest revenue from
our thrift store.. We would like to give you, and others in our community, the opportunity to share in the miracle:.

Please include us in your prayers. Ask God to continue to bless The Ark, all of its ministries, volunteers,
and those it serves. Pray also that God will provide for each of the items listed on the left.
You can volunteer your time and talent.
We only ask for 4 hours per week (but will accept any amount of time you can give). If you love books, you
can help in the book store, which will soon be the largest used book store in the Wiregrass. You can be a
thrift store cashier, clerk or help in the stock room. And, of course, you help us provide food to hungry
children, elderly, or disabled.
We also need individuals with specific skills in carpentry, roofing, cabinetry, electrical systems, plumbing,
heating and air conditioning, carpeting, receptionists, data entry, public speaking, and writing and editing.

You can give
We need used furniture, appliances, clothes, shoes, books, magazines, household items, computers, office
furniture, tables, desks, chairs, etc. If you are unable to deliver these items to us, we will be happy
to arrange to have them picked up.
You can also help with your financial support. Due to the economic slow-down we especially need your
support at this time. Please look over the enclosed pledge card and prayerfully consider a gift.
